Growing up, I would listen closely to my father (a four decade real estate professional) as he discussed things like real estate investments, returns and value add opportunities. While many of these complex CRE topics were over my head at the time, I felt a very real connection. The idea of creating or investing in something that people would use and enjoy, fascinated me.
It still does.
